Carmen Barbero Jiménez
Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Salamanca and Master’s in Genetics from the International Graduate School at the University of Granada. During the final year of her undergraduate studies, she enjoyed a Collaboration Scholarship in Departments of the Ministry of Education at the Functional Genetics of Rare Diseases Laboratory within the Department of Microbiology and Genetics at the Faculty of Biology. She joined the Gene and Cell Therapy group to carry out her Master’s thesis on the use of physiological expression lentiviral vectors to enhance anti-HER2 CAR-T cell therapy. Currently, she has been awarded wtih a Industrial PhD grant to perform her PhD thesis with LentiStem Biotech.
